Welcome
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientific approach that helps parents understand and improve their child's behavior. ABA uses principles of learning to bring about positive changes in behavior, such as communication, social skills, and daily living skills. It is particularly effective for children with autism spectrum disorder, but can also benefit children without special needs. By analyzing the relationship between behavior and the environment, ABA practitioners develop personalized strategies to promote desired behaviors and reduce problematic ones. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, (BCBA), I specialize in ABA and have the expertise to support parents in navigating the challenges of parenting. Through my parent training company, I provide families with the tools and support they need to help their children thrive. I am dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of these families.
My Story
As a former special education teacher and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, I have had the privilege of working closely with children who have diverse learning needs and their caregivers for 13 years. Through my experiences, I have recognized the immense value and crucial role that parent training has on a child's development, growth, and overall wellbeing.
Parent training equips caregivers with the knowledge, skills, and tools they need to support their child's development and navigate challenges effectively. By investing in parent training, you are not only investing in the long-term success of the child but also bridging a stronger bond between parents and their children through improved communication and understanding.
My approach focuses on individualized instruction, recognizing that each child is unique. By tailoring instruction to their specific needs, we can help them achieve excellent results. I also believe in using evidence-based practices, which are proven strategies for learning and development. By blending these practices with individualized instruction, we can provide you with effective strategies that are personalized for your needs and give your chlid the best chance for a positive outcome.
My passion for helping children and caregivers stems from the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their fullest potential. I am committed to staying up-to-date on the latest advancements, and engaging in ongoing learning. This allows me to provide the most effective and cutting-edge support to the children and families I work with.
As a passionate advocate for caregivers, my mission is to empower both caregivers and children, enabling them to thrive together and make a positive and lasting impact on the lives of the families I serve and their communities.
